About me

I’m a freelance journalist, copywriter and author. I used to work in-house at The Guardian and The Telegraph and have done stints at The Times.

I write about business, sustainability, society and education. I have conducted investigations into incinerators, labour abuses, rape, domestic abuse and in-work poverty. I recently made a short film for BBC Ideas about gender, with Flock London.

I have written a crime novel set in Cuba, which won the Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger 2020; and a manuscript for a children’s picture book about dementia. I am represented by Simon Trewin.
